In recognition of the importance of social engagement in maintaining and improving quality of life for both the person with dementia and his/her care partner, Gloria’s Way will focus on interactive group programs that support brain health. These include a variety of healthy life-style activities centered on exercise, diet, cognitive stimulation and social engagement.
In developing ongoing programs for people with dementia and their care partners, Gloria's Way will provide Off-site outdoor activities such as a cultural arts program, museum walks, and other local venues visits, will be offered. Each program provides an opportunity to enjoy conversation and each other’s company, and stay connected within the community. All group activities will be guided by our trained volunteers.

❏ Movement classes – Exercise classes that target the social, emotional, spiritual sides of the care
partner & person with Dementia.
❏ Music – Find a renewed meaning and connection in the lives of persons with dementia through music.
❏ Intergenerational programming – intergenerational programs can have a positive impact on quality of life and
well-being across all age groups. Outcomes include effects on behavior, mood, perceptions of aging and dementia, engagement and sense of self.
